Famous for its lightweight carved mahogany body, the Ibanez S series first debuted in 1987 and immediately cemented itself as a guitar that can take a beating while still providing the resonance of a guitar well above its weight class. The ZR Tremolo system is a ball bearing system that responds to every nuance of the whammy bar. The Zero Point System (ZPS) consistently returns the tremolo to its center position, easing tuning and offering total tuning stability even if a string is broken. Removing the Stop Bar switches the traditional tremolo function to a fully floating system. Ibanez is known for innovation, and this guitar has a lot of it to offer, from the aforementioned tremolo system to the hot and clear pickups that you won’t need to swap to get the most out of this hard rocking instrument!
